Gatlinburg!

Halfway through the Smokies and I still haven't seen a bear = (  although the shelters with chain link fence across one side really makes you fell like you will see one any moment

I am still hiking along with Stix and Hedge Hog and we all stopped in Gatlinburg for a much needed break! Letting feet and legs rest is a huge part of staying on track to reach our goal.

Clingmans Dome was beautiful as Hedgehog and I hiked to the summit for sunrise! It was well worth the early morning wake up!

We have made a couple more milestones to celebrate including the 200 mile mark! into a third state! and less than 2000 miles left!

My mom, dad, and Kaci came to visit and we had a huge dinner with Stix, his wife and Hedge Hog of Lasagna last night!

Gatlinburg has lots of people watching entertainment!

Now on to Hot Springs!
